In the play Grace Indebted to Grace Received, John undertakes a pilgrimage to the altar of the Virgin to dedicate his life to her and present her with his likeness to express his thanks for curing him of a grave disease. As in Tiller's earlier play Vox clamantis, John is presented as a worshipper of Mary, who is also loved by his peers. More info in Czech
